Attack on the U.S. Asylum System: FAQs on the Proposed Asylum Rule
Join the Center for Gender & Refugee Studies (CGRS) for a webinar on the administration’s June 15, 2020 proposed rule, which seeks to limit meaningful protection for vulnerable migrants and severely restrict access to the U.S. asylum system. The webinar will discuss the following:
1) What does the proposed rule say?
2) How would the proposed rule impact asylum seekers?
3) How can you advocate against the proposed rule?
Additionally, attendees are encouraged to submit any questions regarding the proposed rule in advance. CGRS will address commonly asked questions during the webinar.
